The Curse of the Stiff Towel
A Horror Story

Whilst investigating the death of a local Quantification Advocate, a creepy Cheif Uber Guardian called Adolf Oliver Nippils uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, stiff towel circulating throughout a train station. As soon as anyone uses the towel, he or she has exactly 69 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look see through. A marked person feels like a fat muskrat to touch.

Adolf Oliver gets hold of the towel, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: a lazy beaver balancing on a villianous Quantification Advocate, an old newspaper headline about a sitting accident, a hooded pony ranting about butt cheeks and a drinking well located in an erie place.

When Adolf Oliver notices his fingernails have muskrat-like properties, he realises that the curse of the stiff towel is true and calls in his secret lovers, a Content Conductor called Alpha Kenny Wun, to help.

Alpha Kenny examines the towel and willingly submits himself to the curse. He finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. He finds the lazy beaver balancing on a villianous Quantification Advocate particularly chilling. He joins the queue for a supernatural death.

Adolf Oliver and Alpha Kenny pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded pony. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
