Sgt. Abel N. Willan is a skinny and kind HUMAN EXPERIENCE TINKERER with a fondness for painting. He doesn't know it yet but he is the only one who can stop the spiteful killer.

When his old friend, Al O'Moaney, is kidnapped, Sgt. Willan finds himself thrown into the centre of the investigation. His only clue is a floppy lamp.
