Intrigued by the unfamiliar scene of bright sarees gracefully colouring the washed out gray construction site, I slowly edged over with my camera hanging low by my side.
Freedom to shoot at my own "risk" - as this would never be possible in a western society that pampers its people to the nth degree with stifulling security - I picked up the camera with both hands and started framing the space. It wasn't long before stern looks turned into friendly and accepting smiles as the keen interest in being photographed virally spread across the work area.
