Travelers who vacation to Takengon, Aceh will be greeted by the sighting of the sleek Rembele Airport. Vacation would be more exciting if the new airport is like this!

Rembele Airport became one of the airport that looks changed to kinclong by the Ministry of Transportation. This airport will be the vein of liaison in Takengon City, Aceh with other cities.

Rembele Airport is located in Gampong Bale Atu, Bukit District, Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province. It is about 193 km from Banda Aceh City, and about 20 km from Takengon Town.

Rembele Airport development starts from 2014 to 2015. The plan, the airport is still in the finishing stage will be inaugurated around January 2016.

Inauguration itself is expected to be done directly by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. This is indeed one of Jokowi's programs to improve infrastructure in the region, and also to increase tourism visits.
