I was born and raised in a small town, Bireuen - Aceh in the westernmost part of Indonesia. Because my city is a small town, of course the market in my city is also still traditional.

Very much different from the big cities that have a luxury shopping center, such as malls and so forth.
Although the market in my city is still traditional, but we can find and shop all the daily needs at a cheap price, much cheaper than the price at the mall.

When we first enter into the market area, we will see people selling clothes on the left and right side of the road, they will come to us and offer goods or just to stop to just look around, maybe there is something interesting so we will buy it.

The farther we step into the market, we will find the drinks and food merchants, then we will find cake traders, fruits, cooking materials, and finally we will enter into the fish market. There we will find many fish traders and beside them vegetable sellers.

This is a short story of traditional markets in my small town. Although this is a small town, but I was very happy staying here. No noise and traffic congestion.
