The most interesting stories I read this week ( happened in 2016 and 1994 )

Story 1 -

Two young men in their 20s tried to smuggle 9 kilos of marijuana from Las Vegas to Montana, driving more than 15 hours.
At some point, the police began to chase them with hidden cars.
The two men got scared and decided to turn themselves in.
They stopped at the side of the road, waved their hands to the hidden movers, but they did not care.

They called the police and one of them said:

"Hey, uh, we're the two idiots caught while trying to smuggle things across the border,
All your cops just drive around like a bunch of lunatics,
And I just want you to finish it,
If you can help me with this. "

The policeman inquired where they were, asked if they had weapons (they claimed they had only snacks, some surprises) and said he had sent police officers who would come to meet them.
The police arrived and found the two of them waiting with their hands behind their heads and the marijuana on the side of the road.

So far it sounds like a pretty logical story about unlucky criminals.

The chase never took place.
The lovely guys just smoked too much of the smuggled marijuana, got really high, ate a particularly bad movie and that's all.
And thus they were extradited and sent to jail.

Story 2 -

In 1994, after 12 years of torture at the Hawaii Circus, a fillet named Tyke managed to escape during a live performance. During her escape, she killed her coach, who, in order to discipline her, used to beat her until she bled her pain out. Tyke ran to freedom in the streets of Hawaii when local police chased her. Tyke was terrified, she could not be stopped or reassured, for the first time in many years she was free. After the police failed to arrest her, they shot her more than 86 times. Tyke, tired of being imprisoned and only wanted to be free, died.
