of chaos

during dread

and despair

warred with worry

and won

those moments

of madness

were catalysts

of creation

i wonder

how many creators

cling to

their madness

for fear of losing

their creativity

but

that turmoil

that tumult

that chaos

that worry

the madness

may be

a quick trip

to a sense of

a-live-y-ness

to the depth

of emotion

necessary

to create

meaning

in things

but

peace

and ease

these

these

may be

more nuanced

roads to revelation

they may take longer

to traverse

the results

may not

be as wild

as the children

of madness

the work

may be

more refined—

and refinement

may not

always be

a compliment

but the peace

and the ease

strengthen

and sustain

the creator

while the madness

destroys

its user

i don’t know that
