Belated Story Cubes Winner Announcement

Watch for a new contest soon! I have more dice to add to the mix, so it should be interesting...

There were only three entrants to the first round of the contest, and I would feel bad about leaving any one of these three out, so I have chosen to send 5 SBD to each entrant!

As a reminder, my contest did not require the use of all symbols, and allowed entrants to use their writing style or art form of choice.

Qualifying entries:

@tegoshei wrote a short tale called Home Alone using all the dice symbols! There's also a plot twist at the end...

@in2itiveart created an artwork called Take the Bull by the Tail using three of the dice symbols. I am not an abstract art aficionado, so I am not qualified to comment on the quality of the piece in any academic sense, but I think it's an interesting piece that incorporate the symbols well.

@thephotoguide use dthe airplane symbol as an inspiration to write about flight, airplane cookies, and childhood travel memories. Nonfiction is certainly a qualifying topic in this contest, and it's well-presented.

Once I have posted this, I will send the 5 SBD prizes to each entrant. Watch the #storycubes tag for another upcoming contest in the next few days!

Thank you! Awesome that you liked that I decided to do non-fiction. I much rather tell something about true experiences than make something up :)

Have you seen my contest round 2 post? It may be a bit more of a challenge.

I have, Im thinking of how I can deliver a decent entry :)

Thank you! :) I'm looking forward to joining again.. ^^

great! checking....

thank you @jacobtothe! My work is "intuitive" - by the way - I basically use "automatic drawing" by drawing a scribble or putting down some paint and then I "find" some of your symbols in the drawing - and then "find" the meaning of the drawing when it "seems" finished. Automatic Drawing was created by the Surrealists, but it is also a form of Psychic work that is used by Shamans. You should just use your own feeling sense to decide if you "like" it or not. Blessings! And I enjoyed the contest. I look forward to more. Upvoted, Resteemed, Followed...

what's the deadline @jacobtothe?

When the post pays out. 7 days from initial posting, in other words.
