time lapse yosemite.

Definitely gotta tell this one..beyond explanation. Ok so about 6 years ago my long lost french ex gf and I embarked on a journey to the wonderful and beautiful yosemite national park. Camped out, saw some black bears, star gazing, bbq, hiking, photography..all that cool stuff. One day we decided to try and find this supposedly amazing waterfall. So we look on our map start heading towards the direction of the trail, came to a sign indicating a completely other trail than what was clearly stated on the map. A bit confused we decided to walk approx 500 ft to a nearby road where there were tons of cyclists, so we stopped one who looked like a yosemite veteran. Asked him where this waterfall was, so he pointed to exactly where we just came from without hesitation. So we thanked him and decided to walk back, to our amazement when we literally followed our exact footsteps back, the whole landscape in front of us had changed and the sign now read the waterfall we were looking at. We both looked at each other with our jaws to the floor. And if that wasnt enough, we woke up early about 8am..it had to have been around 9am when we got to the begining of the trail. Nope, i looked at my watch for what reason i dnt know and it was going on 12pm. We both are not crazy, not on drugs or alcohol..what we experienced was real and absolutely unexplainable. Found out later of the missing people there at yosemite and of other strange experiences people had that were similar. And also yosemite had a large native american community dwelling there many years ago...maybe theres some sort of connection, dont know. Crazy stuff...anway thats my yosemite story, more storys and thoughts to come along with some other cool stuff.
