As part of my stream improvement measures, I'm currently looking into purchasing a dedicated SFF PC for use with all my game consoles so I can use my Elgato for streaming them, as currently, only the PS4 allows streaming from the system!
I'd also be using Discord on it as well so I can mix in the audio with it later on, although I do also need to get a better CPU, a low-profile graphics card, plus a small monitor so I can monitor the status of the stream, and also the chat! I also want to get a wireless headset at some point that I can use between my PS4, the streaming PC, and my own desktop, or at least the former two, as finding a decent headset at a decent price that also works on Linux is a bit of a pain!
Of course, this will take time to fully implement, although ironically, I might actually be able to shunt it between my living room and bedroom, so it could be used with my main PC, although I'm now wondering if I could do anything else with regards to using the streaming PC as a streaming server as well?
Really need to think about the possibilities, I think!
