I'm gradually progressing with moving my PC parts into a new case, but it's not happening at the speed I want it to, and I need to try to pick up some food, as well as setting aside more time and energy to sort out my PC (as well as waiting for some new PC parts), as well as trying to also sort out some housework, so I'm delaying today's stream till Thursday instead. I'm going to try to stick to Mondays and Thursdays in the future for solo streaming days, leaving Fri-Sun clear for weekend stuff, which can mean a variety of things, including the team streams, car boot sale thrifting, grocery shopping, travel (when possible) and other such things. Given that the parts I'm waiting for are arriving on Wednesday, I'm going to instead be setting up my environment between now and then, so I have a more organised streaming/podcasting setup moving forward. I am however going to try to also use the time I have wisely, which means I'll also be trying to get unused but important data off my SSHD so I'm ready to use a new HDD when I can afford to get it! Although the main reason why I can't stream today is because I need to get groceries and also sort out some other things outside, and I don't know how much it'll drain me. I'm also waiting for a delivery to arrive, so I'm also stuck indoors till it does, meaning it'll probably eat into my streaming time too 😕
So yeah, streaming today is going to pretty much be problematic, if not outright impossible to do as I only have the energy to do so much, and the stuff I need to do trumps streaming! I will see if I can slip in something else between now and Thursday though, but no promises, although equally, I suppose I could show off the PC parts I'm waiting for as they're crucial for my current and new builds. I'm currently looking to see what I'd realistically be able to do whilst waiting for these parts, but the problem is that I'd have to take my PC out of service until Thursday to accomplish things, mainly because it'd be too much hassle to do things in stages, and will make the task longer, so I'm more than a little snookered waiting for those parts, especially as one of the things I did last night has been rendered "wasted time" because I'm going to have to undo what I did and redo it to make things work! On the plus side, now that I have them, it will make the process more efficient to manage, as well as doing the same for the new build, whenever I finally can get anything to do with that done! In any case, once all the bits are here, I can then start moving onto working out the plan for a new hard drive, but before then, I also want to spend time working on updating the overlays, because I want to try to make things a bit more efficient with them moving forward.
I am hoping though that things will become easier to manage over the next few months, as I better organise things, because really, a lot of things are all over the place and it's hampering my ability to get things done at all, let alone in a timely manner; the current situation isn't helping either, for that matter.
Either way, I'm going to try to make the most of the next few days to get some things sorted, because the more I can sort now, the less I have to worry about it later!
