Yes they will, but I plan to just adjust individual voting strength down to compensate so I can still curate just as many topics and give just as much value to each..
Just gotta manage it carefully and hopefully it wont be a problem - I track vote strength with steemstats and will throttle things if needed.
I'll aim to keep my vote strength (and my followers) roughly around the 50% mark

Okay, I signed up. It really would be silly not to. So I'm following you and a few others who seem to be on the same voting track as me - and even though my votes don't count for squat now, I'm doing my best to build up my rep and earn vests - so I signed up to be a curator too. AND I'm in the process of verifying and linking my outside blog. Supposedly it's supposed to cross link what I write there and put it here. HOW COOL IS THAT?!
I don't know how formatting is going to be affected because it's HTML there and markdown here, so we will see how often I use it - especially since I've been blogging exclusively on Steemit for 2 months now.

I haven't tried the blog cross posting features out at all, or seen other people using them yet so I'd be careful with those - in theory it sounds great I just don't know how it handles the formatting at all.

Agreed about reproduction of posts...but curiosity got the best of me.
I wanted to see if it works (still waiting for site verification)
I did a junk post with some goofy text and added a picture to test cross-promotion formatting.
Once I have that info, I can determine whether to keep or toss it. The only good thing that I can see from keeping it is my email list. There a a whole bunch of people who get notifications when I post on my blog...none of them are on Steemit. Something to think about for audience growth.
