@bluemountain took a trip into Melbourne City which is known as one of the top cities in the world for street art. Time to check it out and share it with you fellow steemians.

Hosier Lane is loacated in the CBD of Melbourne City.
It can be accessed by either Flinders Street or Russell Street.

Ajoining laneways are filled with cafes, arcades, shops & street art.
Dont forget to look up while wondering around as some of the best street art is painted on the second and third levels of buildings.

Graffiti and street art are not the same thing. Galleries have started to exhibit street art.

The shape of spray paint cans have changed to allow artists to get closer to the wall.

Street art is very public and subject to being covered by a competing artist so you never know how long something will be there which adds to the excitment.

Street art offers color, ideas and energy and brings back life to an otherwise colourless city
