City introduces hand washing stations around town plus some decent street art

As we approach what all of us in Da Nang hope to be the end of the quarantine measures where restaurants and bars have all been closed as well as all public transport (which has made those of us that don't have cars experience quite some trouble in obtaining food,) we are starting to see new hand public hand washing stations appear around the city.

These appear to have been sponsored by Lifebuoy, and that is fine if they want to put some advertising into the mix if they are going to pay for these stations.

I have been around these stations a few days in a row and they appear to have the soap and hand sanitizer replenished on a daily basis, which is a good thing. Good cleanliness is important even when there isn't a pandemic going on so I hope these stick around even once this thing is over.

They have them all around the city apparently, and I think it is wonderful that these are provided. Normally, in bathrooms in South East Asia outside of an airport, sinks are provided but frequently without any sort of soap, which is kind of missing the biggest part of the point.

Let's hope that the people use them and that their presence allows us to get past the annoying aspects of this global problem as quick as possible.

Now, on to some more street art that I found yesterday. This stuff is decent and it also was on some abandoned property that will either be built upon with rendering by a new owner, or simply torn down by whoever decides to build on the land. Therefore, I don't have a problem with people having done this and I can't really consider it vandalism even though the artists almost certainly didn't have permission to do it.

I can't read the artists callsign (which i think is the point) but based on the color and the style I would guess that the same person is responsible for both of these.

If the person responsible had more time and a couple of extra colors this 2nd one looks like it could become something quite nice if the artist(s) actually have the talent necessary to pull it off. I'll keep an eye on it but I don't have high hopes that it will be improved upon.

Both of these can be found in the My An area of Da Nang, about 6 blocks from the beach.

What do you think? I don't think this is all that great, but it also doesn't suck either.
