ESSAOUIRA, MOROCCO : A Phantasmagorical World of Rugs and Pussies

As you enter the 18th century medina (old city) of Essaouira, you will find yourself transported into another age and time...

No cars, narrow streets, vendors left and right selling all sorts of exotic and beautiful things. And a whole lotta pussy (but that's everywhere in Morocco for you, there are so many cats EVERYWHERE!).

Essaouira is a beautiful city on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, famed for it's medina (an UNESCO world heritage site) and laid back hippy vibes. Right outside of the Medina, there is also a long stretch of beach - perfect for soaking up those rays about 300 days of the year.

When we were planning our Morocco Itinerary, we were struggling to decide between visiting the two coastal cities of Agadir and Essaouira. Being indecisive people, we just ended up visiting both of them!

Despite being both on the ocean and having long stretches of beaches, they are indeed very different and may suit different tastes.
