Street Photography | The Typhoon HAIYAN (Yolanda) Aftermath

in streetphotography •  7 years ago

Our Town in Leyte after the Category 5 Super Typhoon Haiyan left. It was a very hard time for the people living in our town. We did not have any electrical power for more than 3 Months and most of the houses were torn.

We were lucky though that everyone was safe in our town. I still can't forget that day... November 8, 2013, the day Yolanda visited the Philippines.

Here are some images that I took after the typhoon.

Looking closer at things fascinates me. I also like black and white photos.

What a terrible disaster. The black and white makes your views more powerful I think. The last photo is very touching to my heart.
