Remember when I told you to keep your eyes on the ground in this post ... Coyote Detective ... because you will see amazing things.
Well, there are disturbing things too. Like this cartoon face that popped up in a vintage trash pile! He seems way too smiley to be out there in the desert baking in the sun year after year. I really wish they would have buried that pile of trash instead of just throwing it off the back off a pickup truck!
And the eyes...
I photographed smiley with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.

Oh my goodness, it looks so creepy in black and white. It reminds me of the smiley face on a train in some children's show.

Yes creepy is a good word for it! The show is Thomas & Friends and Thomas the Tank Engine has a smiley face... the desert face seems much older.
