Cobblestone Curb • Street Photography

IMG_4173.jpg

Here is a rat's eye view circa 1890s. Cobblestone streets have an instant charm and bring me back a Century or so. The solid construction is always appreciated even though navigation is bumpy.

And this is the rat's eye view out of the comfort zone in the middle of the street.

I photographed the cobblestones with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.

Thank you @juliank for creating @photocontests!

I was in eastern europe this one time and these repair dudes were fixing the cobblestone after some minor excavation (presumably to access water pipes?), what a tedious task that must have been :O

Ha ha... I imagine its a difficult puzzle!

It looks amazing. It would have been interesting if a weed popped up between all of that.

The curb somehow triggered some memory of little figurines on the sidewalk done by some artist somewhere. Lol so vague. I know but it was years ago.

Yes it would be a big surprise!

Such an awesome street photography. Really I appreciate your great creativity.

Waoo amazing photography..
Good talent..
I like it very much..

Awesome photography sir :)

Wonderful street zooming photography....
Great entry buddy @otage

I was going to photograph some cobblestones a couple of days when they were all wet and shiny. It makes a massive difference to the colours. In the end I decided against it as I wasn't suitably dressed to get one my knees. 😁

Awesome your street photography.
