Sardinia • Backstreet Wildflowers

While walking the backstreets in Sardinia, I came across a lot of graffiti, trash and wildflowers! That's right the plant life on the island is incredible and everything from cacti to pine trees seems to thrive in the arid rocky environment. The photos below were taken in an alleyway where nothing was cultivated but beautiful plants and flowers were plentiful!

The plants and wildflowers were shot with my iPhone 6S Plus.

This interesting plant looks like an artichoke crossed with a jade plant and was growing like weeds. I would have loved to take some home with me but of course its forbidden to bring in plants and animals from overseas.

    Seems like you have travelled alot. I believe you have been to France and Italy. I'm not sure which desert did you visit also. Which other countries have you visited?
    L over the pinkish flowers, are they hibiscus flowers?

    I enjoy traveling in Europe. I've been to the desert in Arizona, Nevada and California. I'm not sure what type of flower this is but I love hibiscus tea with a little lime.
