Yesterday I was walking to the streets, making my weekly photographic routine.
Searching for good frames. I was passing through unknown people, unable to find where I was and where was I going. Unknown streets, unknown images, new to me but with bigger chance to find something special.
Everyone around me was strange to me, but with something familiar to me. Everyone was looking his life through his phone. It is the same like I am looking my life and anything around it through my photographic lens. Everyone was lost surrounded by his thoughts searching for answers trying to solve his daily problems without giving any focus on other people.
As I was trespassing through strangers and became a stranger too, I felt something grab my hand. I turned back and saw a man. A homeless man who was looking straight to my eyes. An almost dead voice came to my ears trying to whisper me something.
Please, I am hungry.
Those words were what this man tried to tell. I spend few seconds to understand what was he trying to tell me. Was he asking me for something? Did he know me? Nothing of that. He was just a homeless. My first thought was to tell him something not unknown to him "I do not have, sorry". This answer is very familiar to those people. But I am not like others.
I bought him something to eat and a fresh juice and came back to him without losing any time. For me, was to spend some money and some time of my walk. For him, this was a chance to live another day and losing a small piece of his hungriness.

This mas was unable to speak clearly, but he didn't have to. I spent few minutes with him, trying to recover his loneliness, letting him find his lost hope. Or at least see that he is not alone.
He was trying to keep his eyes clear and not cry, but this was impossible, and this not because he tried to win more money, but because those people are original and they are not hiding their feelings, their thoughts.
I left him alone, but he won a friend.

Κάθε άνθρωπος έχεις μέσα του την κόλαση μα και τον παράδεισο. Δεν χρειάζεται να περιμένουμε να πεθάνουμε για να καταλέβουμε την διαφορά τους, ή και την ομοιότητά τους σε μερικά πράγματα...
Το μόνο που χρειάζεται είναι να σταματήσουμε να ζούμε το τώρα του ΕΓΩ μας και να κοιτάξουμε τους γύρω μας.

Σκοπός του ταξιδιού αυτού δεν είναι για να δείξω τις πράξεις μου ή να φανώ καλός. Κάθε μέρα με κάθε τρόπο προσπαθώ για τους ανθρώπους αυτούς, κα με τα έργα μου προσπαθώ να δείξω την αλήθεια σε όλους αυτούς που επιμένουν να "ζουν" στους καναπέδες θεωρώντας ότι δεν είναι χαρούμενοι με την ζωή τους και τους λείπουν πολλά πράγματα.

Σωστό.. κι εγώ οταν αναφέρω παρόμοιες καταστάσεις δε το κάνω για να δείξω τι είμαι αλλά για το γεγονός..πως έχουμε καταντήσει...
λέμε ότι έχουμε κρίση και δε μας φτάνουν τα χρήματα... λάθος απλά είμαστε άρρωστοι του υπερκαταναλονισμου...
