Red light district

in streetphotography •  7 years ago

From the Guandu Station in Taipei you can follow a garland of red lanterns to find your way to the remarkable Guandu temple. It is a walk of about 20/25 minutes, so I don't dare to guess the amount of lanterns.
For 1 nano-moment I just thought to count them via Street View. But that would be too lunatic.
Or zen?
Unlike the temple (which of course I save for another post) ... the streets of Taipei are rather colourless and the buildings are quite straight and practical. What means not overly decorated. It makes a great contrast with the lanterns.

Not too sure you know what the Red Light District is. Lol. Red light district usually refers to a place that is overtly sexual.
