The acadian tintamarre was a way for the french acadian in Canada to remember the english that we were still there. By making lots of noise in the street and disguising, a little bit like the mardis gras in New Orlean. Lots of acadians were deported by the english and became the cajun in louisianna and the french culture was under big attacks by the english to disappear. The guy on the right is a 90 something years old french guy who dreamt of doing this event all his life. He made himself a big trumpet to make noise with the others :D .
