Over time, stress can gradually wear us down. If we allow it to, it can wear us down to the point of defeat. How do we combat stress? How do we beat it? How do we stop it? The simple answer is that we don’t actively fight it. We accept it. We incorporate it into our lives as a necessary part of living. There is no such thing as a stress-free life. no matter who you are. The way that we need to deal with stress is to meet it head on and acknowledge it but don’t “stress” it.

When you begin to realize that stress is what it is and then begin to take it’s power to be stressful and emotionally draining. I’ve been practicing this approach for some time now (years in fact) and I’m now at the point where stressful situations have much less of a negative effect on me. When I’m in a difficult situation, I ask myself, what can I do right here, right now to get myself into a better, less stressful situation? If there is something to that can be done, I do it. If nothing can be done, I “go with the flow” with the knowledge that God, in all his wisdom will take me through what I need to go through, to show me what I need to know and bring me out even better on the other side.

I have faith that this will always be the outcome because, it has always been the outcome. It has always been the outcome for me, my family, my parents and grandparents, my race and my species. We are a part of this God given universe and as long as you are in harmony with the universe, then you are in harmony with God and as a result, you will be taken care of.
