How can you avoid stress:-
Identify types of thinking that led you to stress. You maybe experiencing unproductive, negative thoughts that lead to worries which can trigger the release of stress homonies. Like when traffic is making you late to work, that can also be a stress factor. Identify common stressful thoughts by noticing if they fall into these categories.
Reframe your thoughts. sometimes a stressful situation is just amatter of perspective. Pessimism, for example an excellent example of avoidable stress that we put ourseleves though. Instead of focusing on the negatives and the problems that are causing you anxiety, concentrate on the postives.
Avoid stress when you can. Seems obvious, right? Sometimes staying away from what is stressing you out is harder than it sounds. If you know particular person or activity is the origin of your stress, cut them or it in your life, or limit your exposure as much as possible. Forexample, stressing about money you have spent(e.g over spending at the mall, lending money to family or friends.)
Try writing down two categories of information about the problem impacting you. Make a column for evidence of / for the stressful thout and another for evidence against it. Or, if you dont have paper or time, try to do this exercise mentally.
Listen to some music. Music has shown to have astrong effect on mood and mental state. Calm yourself down by listening to your favorite soothing music.
