A Stripper

I know a stripper who is always quick to work into a conversation that she has a college degree. She'll do this thinking that it makes her superior and her argument is more valid, all others are dismissed as uneducated. She leans far left and is oh so woke, oh so virtuous. Contrary positions are of course hateful, racist, uneducated blah blah blah. I guess pointing to others as immoral and ignorant is a great way to help one's self esteem if your profession is panhandling for dollars using a pussy. That's all "Exotic Dancing" is, panhandling using body parts. "Give me a dollar and I'll flash you my asshole." The irony is, she's doing this to pay off the college degree that she probably never will fully use.

Due to chronic alcoholism and drug use, she will probably hit the wall by 35. Is it her plan to suddenly find a great job that will finally showcase her superior intellect and educational achievements? What establishment searching for a college educated candidate would even consider her? A work history of a dozen years sexual manipulation? An employment environment of showing up to work when she needs money? Setting her own hours based on how hung over she is? Put yourself in the shoes of a corporate human resource person. Do I want to hire someone fresh out of college with all of the knowledge fresh in their minds and no previous work experience, easily trainable and grateful for an entry level position?

No, let's hire the one that has been out of school for over a decade and has fried her memory years of hard boozing and doing lines of coke with convention goers. Someone who once earned in a weekend what the monthly starting salary is. Someone who has no work discipline and has learned to earn money by manipulation. I'm sure there won't be any office drama with her.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on all strippers. I have known a few. If it's a matter of survival, then sure. If a man is such a pathetic loser to be a patron, then take his money. There are two types of dancers, those who would bank the easy money to pay for an education to elevate herself to a new horizon of employment, and those who chose to dope themselves up to overcome the low self esteem. Let them get coked up and rattle on about how at least they aren't a backward conservative. This stripper in question often goes off on regurgitated rants about how free education is a basic human right and government should not only finish paying off her student debt, but should reimburse her for all of the money she has so far shelled out.

In a few years when her shift is a Tuesday afternoon and the money becomes less and less, she may think it's time to start her majestic corporate career. By then, thousands of younger, brighter and eager candidates fresh from graduation will be sending in their resumes right beside hers. After years of degrading and humiliating herself to pay off her education, the diploma will be little more than a status symbol for her. Something to boast about as she the ex hotty bartender in a skanky dive bar talking shit about those who didn't go to college.
