In a new study it has been claimed that the risk of stroke increases for one year after the flu. However, the researchers do not know much about the reasons behind this. The reason for this can be swelling during flu. It can also be seen by adding previous studies, in which it was claimed that the drug of the flu reduces the risk of stroke.

Researchers from the Columbia University of America saw a record of 30,912 people around the age of 72 who were admitted to the hospital after being stroke. Results of the American Stroke Association's International Stroke Crisis 2019 were retained.

It was reported that those people had more than 40 percent of the risk of stroke, who were admitted to the hospital in the last 15 days due to symptoms like flu. Michigan State professor Philip B. Gorelick said this association was 15 days old. Told that knowing this is important for people because if they get flu, they can track the symptoms of stroke.

In another study, researchers said that after the flu, the risk of artery collapse increases. It is formally called the cervical artery dissection, it occurs when one of the large blood vessels of the neck gets damaged, causing blood clots. According to a report published in Delimel, this is a major cause of stroke because it affects blood supply in the brain.
