What does the future hold for StrongBlock?

StrongBlock has just turned into a fantastic protocol and it is constantly among the biggest gas users on the Ethereum blockchain. But, what does the future hold for the protocol currently operating almost 500,000 nodes in total. Most of the nodes are Ethereum nodes, but some of them are for the Polygon blockchain. What does the future hold for the enthusiasts?

There was a big StrongBlock AMA on April 3rd and you can read a full wrap-up of the AMA right here. There were lots of interesting questions and the StrongBlock CEO David Moss answered them really well. And it is clear that David Moss is bullish about the future of StrongBlock, and thus his enthusiasm clearly comes to the community as well.

There is a migration taking place quite soon to the StrongChain which will make it much easier to make changes to the protocol. There will be lots of new functions coming, a new protocol will be supported (probably Fantom?!) and on the roadmap there are other functions such as a marketplace, more dAPPS, a DEX, and so much more.

Many people are worried that the 10,000,000 STRNGR tokens will be dumped onto the market at once, thus causing the price to dump heavily after release. Well, that is not the case. The circulating supply will be very similar to the current circulation of STRONG tokens, and the remaining tokens will be around for other projects for which a larger circulating supply is required for things to work properly.

David Moss is also a big fan of working with game theory, meaning that you learn along the way and you need to be flexible. For such a reason, he said that gas fees on the new chain might be paid with STRNGR, but it might also be that they will use wETH (wrapped Ethereum) to pay for gas fees. The options are many, but it will all be worked on along the way, and then they will adapt as they see what is working well and what can be improved.

No matter what, after listening to the 58 minute long AMA, I definitely feel more bullish about the future of StrongBlock than I did before.
