You haven't noticed anything about this, most likely, unless you are deep within the XRP or the Strong community. But for some reason, a war seems to have come to live between the XRP and the Strong community. But, that might not be entirely true, because I rather feel like the attacks are coming solely from XRP holders towards Strong holders. And that is strange, because within the Strongblock community, you can find so many who are original XRP holders.
Of course, some of them are openly saying that they sold all or most of their XRP holdings months ago in order to invest in Strong, and do you know what they are doing now? They are buying way more XRP than they ever had, but still keeping and enjoying the profits from their StrongBlock nodes. In other words, they took a risk, and now they are enjoying the benefits of that (greatly).
But, why are XRP people so obsessed by the fact that StrongBlock is a Ponzi scheme and now they are warning everyone about it?
I have no clue at all. They say that Strong is a Ponzi, and of course, if you just look at it from the outside, it might even look like one, but if you follow the weekly AMAs with David Moss and read about the ongoing discussions and projects within the community, you will quickly discover that it isn't. Of course, there is a fight to make it sustainable and it is an ongoing challenge, simply because projects are not used to rewarding node owners, and that makes it challenging for StrongBlock to give rewards to the node holders... but it is a work in progress, just like most other business models, and it is heavily molded in the process. Don't you remember, originally there were supposed to be 10,000,000 tokens which then suddenly became 500,000 tokens (after the burn). Then there was a halving in rewards, and then you have the partnership announcements, the launch of Sentinel dVPN nodes, and soon Polygon nodes will be launched, and then comes Ethereum 2.0 staking, Fantom nodes, and much more.
Is StrongBlock a ponzi?
I recommend that you take a look at the following article: https://www.ipaddressguide.org/is-strongblock-a-ponzi-should-you-be-worried-about-buying-strong-tokens/
Will XRP and Strong bring forth a truce?
I guess this is just a tiny little battle that will be soon forgotten. Probably quite a lot of XRP holders are sad that they didn't invest in StrongBlock themselves, some are truly worried about the fact that Strong looks like a Ponzi, while others just like spreading hatred and evil messages on Twitter.
But, love will conquer and win in the end, and I wish the best for both communities!
