Dhaka Huff Marathon -2018 was held in the city's Hatirjheel with the participation of more than six hundred participants.
Today, on Friday 6 to 9 pm, half of the participants of the competition and 620 participants in the two different divisions participated in the marathon. Mini marathon starts at 15 minutes after the Half Marathon starts at 6am. 50 of the participants were foreign nationals.
To promote the capital city of Dhaka positively and to encourage citizens to live well, Thawand Miles Expedition Bangladesh and Dhaka Run Lords jointly organized this long race race competition, two adventure sports and sports organizations.
Participants participating in the Half Marathon ran 21.1 km. To reach this route, the contestants from the Concord Plaza have traveled three times in the Hatirjheel area. To finish the race, the allotted time for the Half Marathon contestants was 3 hours. And the competition for the mini marathon is 7 kilometers. They once came to the Hatirjheel area. Allocation for them was 1 hour time.
Abdur Rahman became the first person to be in the category of Half Marathon. He took 1 hour 27 minutes to finish the race. Second place owner Mahbubur Rahman finished his running in 1 hour 37 minutes. And third, Mahfujul Haq took 1 hour 38 minutes time.
In the women category of the same category, Syuati Sabur grabbed the first position. He took 2 hours to 28 minutes. Sifat Fahmida was second in just one minute. It takes 2 hours to 29 minutes. Third Anjuman Aura took 2 hours 31 minutes.
Meanwhile, Shariful Islam was the first to finish the run of the second round of the mini marathon in 24 minutes 44 seconds. In this category, Clara de Girolamo finished second in 27 minutes 32 seconds. Md. Rumman Siddique His time is 29 minutes 49 seconds.
Clara de Girolamo, second in the general category, became the first female category in this category. The second and third were Mousumi Akhter and Sayaji Falfoull. To finish the race, they took 40 minutes and 44 minutes respectively.
