The Higher Secondary Certificate(HSC)and equivalent examinations begin today with 10,42,372 examinees taking part from 9,105 educational institutions across the country.

Of the 10,42,372 examinees,more than 9.27 lakh students are under eight general education boards.According to the data of Bangladesh Inter-Board Co-ordination Sub-Committee,some1.08 lakh students are under Madrasa Board and 1.05 lakh students are under Technical Board.Besides, 3,779 students of Diploma in Business Students are also taking part in the examination under Dhaka Board.
This year,the number of examinees has risen by more than 1.28 lakh.Some 6.06,291 boys and 5,34.082 girls are participating in the HSC and equivalent examinations at 2,356 centres under 09 education boards.The exams are also being held in five overseas centres in doha,Abu dhabi,Jeddah,Riyadh and Tripoli for 203 candidates.After visiting a number of institutions we have found the examinatons are going on in a peaceful atmosphere everyone!
