WHY DID I START THIS??!?!
Just kidding.
I'm pleasantly surprised at the enjoyment when it goes right. When it goes wrong however its a different animal.
I REALLY think this will do wonders for my analytical brain in marketing. Staring at a dysfunctional 20 line piece of html really teaches you how limited you are. It's all relative but I'm glad to know that I know nothing.
So what I learned was:
1. To plan out on paper and write code before I jump on to any screen. I'm going to outline my own blog which I will eventually host and keep as a kind of thought tracker. Plan Stan, don't jump the gun.
2. Use <div> to wrap stuff that generally you want to be altered or grouped together, using a class to make your code even easier to analyse/change.
3. Basic anchoring with images and links within the document i.e <a href="./index.html" > Home </a> for a home nav button... I can assure you that is from memory. However when I tried to use an image as a link I did get confused. Here's what I'd do from memory:
<a href="about.html" img src="LINK"></a>
Fuck knows lol.
4. Using memory and logic is the only way I'll learn. I've only read that learning sytax and the way its usually used a quick way to stagnation. I guess I'll just structure as many HTML5 docs and webpages as possible until every structure is admissible.
Hope everyone is good. Please correct me and share any good resources!!
Take it easy
