Below are listed a few of the most popular kitchen cabinet door styles of all times. Keep reading.

Shaker Style: One of the most common cabinet door styles in use today, this one is an extremely common one which can be seen in today’s kitchens. This one is a five-piece flat-panel style which has a frame that is made from four pieces; it also has a flat-centre panel as the fifth piece. It gets its name from the shaker furniture style which uses clean-cut lines in order to emphasize the utility. Doors belonging to the shaker style developed popularity owing to the fact that they can blend in with just about any style.

Beadboard Style: Beadboard is the classic cottage style. In this style of cabinet, the center panel resembles beadboard paneling done in a traditional manner. In the past, beadboard paneling was used for the purpose of decorating walls and also to cover the places of the walls where the plaster might have come off. This was pretty common in the times when drywall, plaster and paint became widespread.

Thermofoil Style: These ones are usually molded and created from medium density fireboard. They are usually wrapped up in a plastic-like coating and then passed through extreme heat so that an impenetrable seal can be created. These are known for their durability and most of the time come only in solid colors. If the color is light, then it runs the risk of getting yellowed.

Distressed Style: If you want an antique-style kitchen cabinet, then ‘distress’ style cabinets would be a great fit. And the best part is that they can go with any particular door style. Just take the door and have the corners eroded to a suitable degree along with other similar distress techniques.

Flat Style: The flat door style bears a stylish but appealing style. It is a flat-panel door and is completely minimalist. The hard lines make it a fit for any contemporary style. A majority of doors come in laminate or wood.  These, in short, are some of the most popular cabinet door styles in vogue at the moment. While choosing, keep your own tastes and the budget in mind.
