First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.

Another Sunday painting at my dad's, and on the way I stopped off to pay my Mum a visit. Yesterday it was a lovely sunny day, quite mild for the time of year as well - today not so much sun but still warm.

In a whole holly bush, these were the only three berries left. It made me wonder if the bush was short on fruit this year, or if the birds were all well fed.

This very old tree stump holds some interesting patterns, and surprisingly empty in the centre as well.

Now this is a complete mystery, an Apple tree laden with fruit in February?

And even more on the ground, we have had strong winds in the past few weeks.

During my brisk stroll I found a surprising outcrop of flowers, along with a large number of more usual snow drops.

And these flowers nestling in my dad's garden.

To finish a #funkyedits, this hotel tower looks pretty spooky with this edit.
