Welcome to #SublimeSunday , a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a ☕️

First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.

After a week of wind, rain and snow it's looking a whole load brighter in the UK today. My weekend has been relatively quiet, I took a break from painting at work - it's not warm in there at the best of times and with temperatures only just above freezing I didn't really fancy it. Besides which I had enough to keep me occupied at home, seems like there is always something needs doing and of course I've been keeping up with all the activity with the Steem Blockchain as well.

And another Sunday visiting my Dad, this was a pleasant surprise to see flowers fighting against the freezing weather and popping out already. It feels like the battle of winter might be over soon and Spring will be here soon.

It's nice to see the colour coming back to the garden, my Mum would have enjoyed seeing these brightening the place up.

Even the heather is starting to look more colourful and alive, all the rain will have helped that.

I think the cold and frost might have got to these a little, but they still are bright enough to tell of what will be coming soon.

And the snowdrops of course, classic for this time of year.

Now for me I don't think this photo is half bad, it always amazes me how nature can create these burst effects here the with bright yellow almost spray painted onto the deep red petals.

More colour bursts, although these flowers are looking a bit more ragged.

These I'm not so sure about, maybe starting their attempt to bloom but not quite getting there yet.

I don't qualify for the contest, but I always like to join in the Power Up to add to my modest stake. This months plan did hit a bit of a speed bump though - Friday night I was all set to purchase a good chunk of Steem - and the market at that point was going to give me a good return for my money. Only I fell asleep before finishing the job off (stop tittering at the back) and woke up Saturday morning to find out Steem had a massive pump from a big purchase. So suddenly I was getting a few hundred Steem less for the same money - I believe the saying is "if you snooze you loose" lol Anyway glass half full, Steem going up while over cryptos go down has to be good thing!

Anyway, proof of #spud I bought in a smaller then expected amount of Steem and have powered up 500 today.

And a #funkyedits to finish, crab traps at Whitby Docks from a few years ago.
