Ashoka is a perennial plant native to Southeastern Asia and India. There are a few varieties of the Ashoka tree growing in different regions and habitats, and they are called by different names depending on where they are from.

The ashoka is prized for its beautiful foliage and fragrant flowers. It is an evergreen tree, with deep green leaves growing in dense clusters. The flowers come in heavy, lush bunches. Some are bright orange-yellow in color, some are red in colour.

Ashoka is a very popular medicinal herb in Ayurveda medicine. According to Plant Information, all parts of the plant have medicinal properties. Its leaves contain steroids, glycosides, carbohydrates, saponins and tannins. Barks have steroids, glycosides, carbohydrates, saponins and tannins. Flowers are medicinally used to treat cancer, diabetes and hemorrhagic dysentery, menorrhagia and other uterine disorders.

Ashoka can be used in various forms for different health conditions such as tablet form, powder form, juice form, decoction form, capsule form and paste form. It can be used externally or internally according to the condition.

Saraca Asoca is a plant belonging to the Detarioideae subfamily of the legume family.

In the first picture I thought to myself, what is the dark thing under the plant. I thought to myself, that is something in the background. Paah, as you then wrote in the text that this is the pod that contains the seeds and saw the size comparison by hand in the picture, I was totally excited about the gigantic and beautiful size and anyway the beauty of this great flower, the leaves and the beautiful tree.
Do you think it can effectively cure cancer? I think that we treat cancer with chemo- and radiotherapy, but I am not sure if there are other methods of treatment. Every now and then I eat the seeds of the fruits. I have never heard that this is available in tablet form, powder form, juice form, decoction form, capsule form and paste form. I'll have a look right away, because I like to heal myself with Ayurveda medicine when I get sick. I did not even know about this great tree before. Thank you very much for the valuable information.

There are many claims on internet that certain food can cure cancer, and sometimes, people swear by it. But it is difficult to know if that is true.

Our bodies are different and we all react to different things and medication. These might work for some and not others. It also depends what other medicine the patient is taking at the same time. Maybe it's the other medicine that cured the cancer. Maybe it is a combination of both and/or other factors.

I hope we don't have to find out. :-)

I thought the small road side ones are called Ixora.
