In this post, I will explain the initiative of Substratum and its benefits.

Since the Federal Communications Commission led by Chairman Ajit Pai won the vote against net neutrality in the hope that internet providers will not choose some internet traffic above the other. The idea of net neutrality was lost. This idea was lost until Substratum came with idea that internet-freedom could be achieved with the use of blockchain technology.
This idea is called The Decentralized web.
Substratum will bring the decentralized web worldwide for everyone who wants to use it.
The Decentralized Network (From Substratum) is a network where no individual can attempt to centralize its architecture or services. This means that nobody can control its use and the power lies with us.

The Substratum is a Blockchain network [still nearing beta testings] that will allow anybody with a steady internet connection and spare computing resources to become a web host by using the computing resources you aren't using and get paid in Substratum Coins for the serving.

I think this is a good initiative and more people should join the Substratum Network when Substratum releases the open source network. Here are a view examples of why I think Substratum will be the future platform along with Steemit of course.

The ease of using Substratum and mining earning Substratum Coins
If you want to set up a node (being a web host in Substratum) you're not going to need many resources like high GPU's / CPU's. The only thing you need is a steady and fast internet connection. And you don't need any experience with Blockchain because Substratum has a very simple and working UI.

Safe internet serving
If you use a VPN(Virtual Private Network) you can serve the internet safely without anybody knowing what you are doing. If you use the Substratum Network all your web surfing will be encrypted and you could visit government blocked sites without them ever knowing it.

There are many other reasons why you should use Substratum like net neutrality which I explained above.
The only question that remains is whether you should invest in Substratum.
The answer is yes, you should. I think you should invest in Substratum because it is based on a platform that will solve our problems with the fall of net neutrality. Many people are against the cancelation of net neutrality. This means that the people who will hear about Substratum (like you are right now) and the people that are against the cancelation of net neutrality will probably begin using Substratum. This means that more people will be hosts and more people will be paid in Substratum Coins. If this happens they will use and sell Substratum on trading sites like Binance(Substratum Coins were recently added to Binance) and if the uses of the coin increase the price will rise.
There is a chance that Substratum will not rise. But I doubt that. But just to make sure: That you should invest is my ADVICE. If you risk too much money and you lose it will not be my responsibility. So, be careful with your money and investments!!!
