In life, what distinguishes successful people from unsuccessful people is that extra mile taken.. The little things others ignore but you take seriously.

So in this write-up, I will be sharing little but important things successful people always seek out to do..

Believe

if you believe it, you will achieve it.

The power to succeed is in you. Successful people believe in the visions or project they have set for themselves even when it looks difficult to achieve.

They know it's not over till its over so they strive to get there even when others are in doubt.

Plan

when you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

This is a major tab for success most people ignore. Successful people would always set an itinerary of what, how and why they seek to achieve and this is a constant reminder to them that they need to be up and doing.

Setting a plan has a way of keeping you in check of the activities you do especially when it goes contrary to the plan. When others are playing, he is planning.

Study

no knowledge is a waste.

A successful person will always study his plan effectively because it is a means to an end;the objective for setting the plan.

Thus he will explore and learn more about the process needed to achieve that goal especially in a situation where he encounters a dead end. While others are asleep, he is looking for new ways to get better.

Prepare

proper preparation prevents poor performance

A successful individual after setting out the plan and studying it effectively, will immediately start preparing him or herself for the task ahead.

He will purge himself of all negative feelings and exert a positive attitude and energy because he is aware of the task ahead. He starts preparing while others are day-dreaming.

Begin

the early bird catches the worm

A person very much vested in succeeding begins immediately without thinking back. When he has acquired all necessary proceedings to achieve his goal, the next step is to start working on them.

He knows that he would never pull through if he doesn't start the journey. So while others are procrastinating, he is already on track.

Work

there is no food for a lazy man

A successful person knows that it is not enough to plan and prepare without working. So he ensures he employs all the necessary or required manpower needed for the success of that program.

Invest

cast your bread upon the waters.

A successful person is conscious of the fact that spending money, time or energy on something for the benefits to be derived would be an added advantage to his success story.

So he is always out looking for viable ventures to invest in because he knows the future benefits will be productive. So while others are wasting, he is investing.

Listen

talk less; listen more

A successful person pays attention to the factors surroundings him and how it affects him in his dealings.

He knows these factors play a major key in his success so he isn't ignorant to them. He ensures he follows the trend and understand how it works. So while others are talking, he is listening.

Smile

you are never fully dressed without a smile 😀😀

Successful people are always smiling, vibrant and full of life. They understand to succeed, they need a positive energy so they do all within their power to always focus on the good things of life and discard the trials thrown at them.

So while others are frowning, you see them wearing a smile.

Commend

it is always okay in the end; if it isn't okay, then it's not the end.

A successful person understands the power of appreciation and compliments so he is in the habit of making a positive comment out of a very bad situation. He sees the green light in the midst of darkness. He focuses on the good days instead of the bad days. He acknowledges strength instead of flaws and weakness.

Persist

when the going gets tough, only the tough gets going.

A successful person is full of an undeterring attitude. When the journey of achieving his goals get stuck or difficult and he is probably out of ideas, instead of being discouraged, he holds on. He is determined to try out new ways to get there.

He is aware that when one door closes, another opens so he activates the never give up rule. So while others are quitting, he is holding on.

No successful person ever became so by taking the short way out because there is none.. They remained undettered and fought against discouragement, trials and setbacks. There is no success story without a rough patch and hiccups.
