Why the Rich and Poor need cryptocurrencies (steemit /steem , Bitcoin, Elyte.io et al )

in success •  7 years ago  (edited)

It is argued that blockchain technology is the next best thing that happened to the masses after the internet. This is true especially for bloggers who spend endless time on facebook without gaining any monetary value. Steemit, on the other hand, does not discriminate rather you will get rewarded according to the value of contents you post, relationships you build, great comments, hardwork and most importantly steem power.
This concept is also true for all other top cryptocurrencies , here are some few points:

Grow your coins , not gamble with them: It is true that day traders can make daily profits, however , they can lose all too when they make a bad call. Long term holders , on the other hand, can create wealth for themselves especially when the coin or token rise more than 5K % -therefore making cryptocurrencies a good source of return on investment (ROI ) for the rich and yes the poor who can gradually buy and hold cheap / new undervalued tokens example elyte (see www.elyte.io) .

Starting from nothing: Steemit gives all the opportunity to grow from nothing and become wealthy by engaging positively with the community. This is also true for some tokens that sends out free airdrops or (competition based bounty too ) to their community thereby giving all the opportunity to join the next best thing (see my former posts for details ).

Community: Put succinctly, many people joined steemit for the money (financial return) however stayed for the community and the amazing people they meet daily either in steemit or elyte telegram group, bitcoin talk, reddit etc.
This is amazing because the knowledge gained is priceless and can really help the rich to make a better investment decision including helping the broke to see the light.

Well your smart enough to already be on steemit growing your future instead of posting crap on farcebook so I wish you the best kid! Cryptocurrency is the way forward for people of all ages and economic backgrounds. Good luck!

Thank you! :) Good luck to you too!

Very good point, I agree.

Count yourself blessed buddy for starting so early in the crypto space...guess that you will do great at elyte.io , join their telegram group via the link and ask questions. Keep steeming to more success

I will :)

Great insights and I cannot agree more on your assertions. Cryptocurrency has truly made folks from rags to riches ...just a lil bit of luck and early adoption which am sure like btc and steemit, Elyte (www.elyte.biz) shall offer to early adopters. Tks for sharing this. Upped

Good point, I agree...

If people treat this platform as they would the stock market, and play on both thr fundamentals and technicals of it,they would make lots of money. Every market has the same basic principles. Trust me,steemit can make you a millionaire. Just give it 3-5 years

You are correct, hope that many will see the light...see also my former mail for a good one, success.

Hey @charles

I won't differentiate it between rich and poor. We all should join Steemit because it's future of cryptocurrency. The amount of knowledge we gain by reading valuable posts can't be measured and compared to other social medias. We gain so much information on current happening and get connected with like minded people.

Steemit is a great platform to start earning cryptocurrency. As you said Charles, it's free resource for everyone to get into cryptocurrency.

Thanks for writing this wonderful post.

Good point, thanks for your comment

Steemit gives all the opportunity to grow from nothing and become wealthy by engaging positively with the community.

Absolutely true. There are many people I am friends with here who have worked for a solid year, and now have a nice Steemit egg saved up.

Great to hear from you bud and thanks for your comment

You’re welcome. Hope you are doing well, my friend.

it's the only way for the people to take back their economic liberty and integrity ... WON"T BE FOOLED AGAIN !! ... peace

Good point, thanks for your comment

Truthfully? -I joined for the incentive of rewards for posting - initially.

Now it has become something much more rewarding than that. Something bigger altogether.

(soz I can't upvote - i'm powering up again - I keep upvoting like a crazy thing ATM)

Good point and more success to you

To be honest, there is a lot of gambling when it comes to investing on STEEM or any other currency. There is no way to predict their value in the future and waiting indefinitely before you cash in can be equally catastrophic.

EVERYWHERE we have risks. If you go to work, you could become unemployed. If you buy a house, then war could happen, and terrorists bomb your house.

yes and that is why I refute the first claim in the thread

On what ground...can you elaborate?

The first claim is: Grow your coins , not gamble with them

You can't grow without gamble. Even Jesus had a parable for that regarding faith.

The term gamble is correct in that context ie long term hold...And to correct you, you can grow without gamble ...being being conservative with your choice if you know what I mean

Good point...even banks can steal your money including your central government....I trust crypto more than them.

Life is full of gambling isnt it? remember that bitcoin was perceived ( and still ) as a gamble...however made many people rich

Someone always gets rich. Even during a bubble burst.

The banks I guess..hahaha ...however we have the chance to get our own share in crypto space more than banks isnt it?

The banks began as safekeeping of wealth before becoming what they are now. If hackers become the burglairs of the digital era, cyber banks will be created for crypto. It is inevidable.

We have crypto banks now isnt it? Coinbase, blockchain, ledger et al isnt it?

dunno what they count as, I am exchanging my steem dollars with someone who pays directly to my paypal

Cryptocurrency is a good means of making it in the future. It might look like a risk but it is worth the risk. No business without risk... Nice post @charles1

Good point, even banks can steal your money isnt it?

Yeah. Some banks liquidate. Even saving your money in a bank is a risk.

I do agree with your thought. Crypto might be the only currency the will rule the world in near future.

Still lots of work to do and lets hope that it will lead to distribution of wealth to the poor masses
