Consistency: The Most Important Element to Success

Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Usain Bolt, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. All of the aforementioned names are known by virtually everyone in the world. Do you know the absolute secret to all of their successes? It’s not just talent. It’s not just skill. It’s not some unique nuanced ability that they only possess. No. It’s CONSISTENCY.

Consistency is the number one requirement for success. It does not matter what you do in life. Whether you are an athlete, a businessman, a scientist, a doctor, or a lawyer, your level of success will depend on your consistency.

I’ve often seen wasted talent. I think we all have. People whom we know could have been phenomenal in their respective fields however they fall short of their potential. If you look for the missing link or the one area that all of these individuals lacked it will almost always be consistency.

Consistency forms the foundation of one’s work. A little research into any successful individual’s life and you will see that the level of consistency in his or her routine is almost robotic. Of course, life calls for adaptability thus not every day will be identical however there are always certain aspects to a successful person’s life that are not compromisable.

These non-negotiables are things that are done by these successful individuals just like you and me sleep. The consistency is obsesseive. If you are looking to achieve more in any one area, take a look at your consistency.
