It's All In The Recovery

Sometimes when we are able to remove ourselves from the equation, we can see a synchronized pattern that always works in our favor. I am guilty of losing my mind over tying to get every intricate detail down to perfection before trying the actual thing that I am preparing for. For example, before every speaking engagement I try to learn more information on top of what I already know. I study my audience to make sure the content that is being presented will be beneficial to their specific interest. I make sure the sources that are cited are EXTREMELY credible. I lose my mind, I cry, I don't think I can do it anymore, I spazz out. I think to myself, "What are they going to think about me? What is going to go wrong?"

Then, the time approaches when the show must go on. So, I shakily start by introducing myself, I think I have that part down to a science. What I have noticed about the information I speak, is that I believe in it wholeheartedly. I am always a strong advocate in whatever I believe in, so when I speak, I speak with confidence. Where the problem comes in is technical difficulties. I finally went live on Facebook on 2.21.2018 for the first time ever. I think I was driving myself crazy that day hoping everything will flow. Well when I started, I could not get my administrator on with me. I could not add my guest speaker, my dad was walking back and forth in the camera, and my phone died. All of that, while live. I did not give up, I saw it through to the end.

What I learned by not giving up was that, people that support you, support you, no matter what. There is always another chance that you will have to get it right. If I focus on solutions, then problems are no longer the mountain. I wanted to write this post because so many of us are afraid to take the next step or leap forward. If you do not move forward, all opportunities will continue to pass you by. I am a firm believer in what's for you is for you, so no matter how many times you keep repeating the same lesson, you will not pass it until you understand why it's your lesson. After learning the lesson, there is such a freeing feeling of completion that fills your body and motivates you to continue to do more.

My message today is that things fall apart, go to hell, don't work out, or crash and burn. If you take the time to keep going and not give up when things get tough or messy, your perseverance will iron everything out. So my title, "It's All In The Recovery," is the action you take to not plummet, but to rise to the occasion and make adjustments along the way. Be Encouraged, Be Empowered, Be Enlightened.

BE AT PEACE
