The character of a person is vital to a person's foothold in society. If a person does not have good character, even if he can succeed, it will be short-lived.
As a person, you must have the heart to help others, and as a person, you must do eight noble things.
First, we must learn to be applauded. Learn to praise others, praise others' good points, and learn to applaud. The applauding person has a strong heart and a smile on his face. In fact, everyone needs the applause of others. Cheering for others is the responsibility of each of us. The lives of people who don't know how to applaud for others will be very narrow. With a broad mind, leading to all rivers, and seeing the advantages of other people every day, you will be filled with kindness and compassion in your heart.
Second, to accumulate ethics, you must be tolerant. If words can hurt others, please speak tactfully; if you want to speak indifferently, please warm it up before speaking. If you criticize others, please speak one-on-one, and you must know how to take care of others' self-esteem.
Third, respect others. We must first respect people and strive to make others feel dignified. Respecting the weak is more valuable. Don't look down on the disabled and care about them. You should keep in mind the kindness of others, and quickly forget that you were hurt by others.
Fourth, be polite. Be polite to others, and others are willing to learn more about you. Only in this way can you become charming. If you bow to others, others will bow to you. If you put your palms together, others will see you as a bodhisattva, so it is not surprising. This gift is to convey the warmth of your heart, and it is also the best gift in your heart, so we must treat people with sincerity and courtesy. If you regard others as a bodhisattva, then others will also regard you as a bodhisattva.
Fifth, trust others. Many people living in this world always have doubts about others. People who are inherently suspicious are unlikely to have real friends. To be trusted is a kind of happiness. If many people trust you and ask you to do something, then you will have many chances of success. If you doubt someone, please don't make friends with him; if you know this friend, please don't doubt him. Making friends with your heart is a "friend of the heart".
Sixth, humble dedication. A humble person will have friends everywhere. Remember not to be too sharp, put down your body, lower yourself, learn wheat ears, grow taller, and lower your head. You must keep a low-key, don't be arrogant in front of others, don't be proud of success, if you succeed, still keep a low-key, everyone will like you.
Seventh, try to understand others. Everyone wants others to understand themselves, but many people cannot understand others by themselves. A person who thinks about others every day is a bodhisattva, and a person who can do things for others every day is a good person. As a good person, you must accumulate virtues and do good deeds every day, and all good deeds will be rewarded.
Eighth, don't embarrass others. Embarrassing others is the greatest rudeness. At any time, as long as you don't embarrass others, you are glorifying God.
