Watching suffering

To watch someone suffer simply for entertainment purposes or to watch someone suffer for our own satisfaction because we think they deserve it is unconscionable.
Furthermore if we go deeper into ourselves we know that watching someone suffer only causes us more suffering. At best it really does not solve a problem.
