We often ask ourselves if our food products contain sugar, and if it does, how much sugar is contained, and of what variety. It is thought that Corn Syrup is a cheap and effective way to add sugar, with a greater efficacy of sweetness. If we compare the amount of sugar required to sweeten (X) product, we would find that High Fructose Corn Syrup increases the sweetness of the product to a greater degree than what we consider legitimate forms of sugar, which might include Sugar cane, or Sugar derived from coconut for instance. Though we do not off-hand the discrepancy between the two, we can surmise that with the use of High fructose corn syrup, we achieve a much sweeter product, although it is believed that the quality of the sweetness is lowered significantly, it is still very good.

I personally prefer sugar cane, even though you require more of it to get to the same degree. I believe that the flavour is much better. I would really like to get a sense from Steemit of which you like most and why. Do you like more sweetness with less high fructose corn syrup, or a higher quality sugar, such as those found in sugar cane. I also love chewing on sugar cane, it is amazing!
