The balance sheet of the morbid game « blue whale challenge » continues to grow in Algeria. The young teenager who is in a comatose state, according to sources, who was at the 27th stage of the game, was discovered by her father slashing his arm. She tries to commit suicide by swallowing a large amount of compresses in protest against her parent who took away her smartphone. She was transferred urgently to Ain Oulmene Hospital. On November 16, still in the wilaya of Setif, an 11-year-old child killed himself by hanging, and another 9-year-old child was found hanged in Ain Oulmene. Remember that this game exclusively for teenagers, created by a young Russian and who became known on the Russian social network VK.com, consists of 50 challenges, the last of which is to take the death. Teenagers who sign up on social media gaming groups like facebook are assigned to an administrator who gives them challenges to accomplish such as slashing their arms, pinching their ears, not talking to anyone … Etc. The administrator asks them to take pictures and send them as proof, they will be published on the group, loved and shared by the other members, which encourages the candidates to go to the end of the 50 challenges, by suicide.
