Deaths from suicides worldwide have dropped by more than a third since 1990. This information has come out in a study. World Health Organization considers suicide as a serious public health issue, and according to one estimate, at least 8 lakh people commit suicide every year.
However, according to the data model prepared by the team of Global Bird of Disease, different causes of suicide in different countries have been found. It is clear from this study that cases of suicides worldwide have come down.
According to a study published in BMJ Magazine, according to one estimate, 817,000 people self-employed in 2016, which is 6.7 percent higher than in 1990. However, in the last three decades the population of the world has grown tremendously. The team found that on the basis of size of age and size of population, the rate of suicide has decreased from 16.6 per 100,000 people to 11.2, which is 32.7 per cent less.
Heather Orpana, a research scientist and research associate of Canada's public health agency, said that deaths from self-centered can be stopped, and this study shows that we should continue our efforts towards the prevention of suicide cases. He said that it is the extreme step taken in self-interest. It can be stopped with some effort. There is a need to try at many levels in this regard. We hope that after this study there will be more efforts in this direction.
