Haru Basho, Spring Basho in Osaka is now over and Yokozuna Kakuryuu is the Champion with 13 wins and 2 loses.

Hatsu Basho Champion - Tochinoshin who won the Emperor's Cup as Maegashira, was wrestling as Sekiwake on Spring Basho and finished with 10 wins to 5 loses and is a strong candidate to enter the May Basho as Ozeki. He also got a prize of "outstanding performance" second time in a row and defeated Yokozuna Kakuryuu on Day 12.

Runner ups were: Ozeki Takayasu and Maegashira #6 Kaisei

    Next basho will have more Yokozunas and will be much more interesting to watch.
    I am looking forward to see Tochinoshin as Ozeki.
