Marvel has a lead on live action movies,
But when it comes to animated movies,
DC is the very best.
And today i will be counting down my picks,
For the top 5 best DC animated movies.

#5 All - Star Superman

After being fatally poisoned by solar radiation,
Superman prepares for his final days,
While Lex Luthor makes plans,
To speed up the Man Of Steel's demise.
It's really scary to think of a world without superman,
However if this movie shows us anything,
Is that even when faced with death,
Superman's spirit can't break.

#4 Batman : Under The Red Hood

When the mysterious Red Hood begins,
Running a muck in Gotham,
Batman has to confront one of the darkest moments in his life.
Based on the "Death In The Family" and
"Under The Red Hood" Story arcs,
This movie presents viewers with a side of
Batman we have never seen before.
This movie has a great surprise moment,
Which i won't spoil for you.
And it has some of the best action in the DCAU

#3 Justice League : The Flashpoint Paradox

The world is on the brink of destruction,
The Amazons and the Athlantians are at war,
And The Flash has no powers.
This movie has been adapted perfectly from the comic books,
And it some aspects it has gone further.
This movie sets up the future DCAU movies.

#2 Batman : The Dark Knight Returns

Unable to stand what Gotham has become since he retired,
Batman returns to the crime fighting scene,
Joined by a new Robin Batman launches a new reign of terror,
One that strikes fear into the criminals of Gotham.
This movie was so epic that i had to be split in 2 parts,
And we got the legendary fight between
Batman and Superman we all wanted to see.

#1 Batman : Mask Of The Phantasm

This movie had to take the top spot on my list,
Batman framed for the deaths of Gotham's crime bosses,
Must not only confront a dangerous assasin,
But the Joker and the love of his life too.
This movie get's so many things right,
That it would take me days to explain them all.
In a nutshell it's all the animation,voice acting and
Writing from Batman : The Animated Series,
Taken to a next level.
A lot of people consider this movie,
To be the greatest Batman movie of all time.
