Hello everyone! Hope that your weekend is coming along wonderfully! Saturdays and Sundays are the best especially for us working Mamas. So much to catch up on! Time with the kiddos doing stuff together (Yay!) and not mention catching up with house chores for some of us. (Eeks!) I wish it was a 3 or 4 days weekend! So much to do and so little time!

Anyway, I would like to introduce this first weekly edition of our Steemitmamas Sunday Shares. I thought it would be lovely to see what some people were up on the weekends. So we decided to specially curate posts that were posted on the weekend only and we found quite a few to choose from. Enjoy! I definitely did.

Incredibly this is one Mama who is always up to something! @brittandjosie has been a strong advocate of our community and really supports a lot of people in Steemit. This weekend she shares about how she makes an effort to learn something new and this time she learnt with her son how to change a bicycle tyre and make hot oil to soothe her muscles. This Mama is working hard this weekend even though she is down with the flu. It's really tough when you got kiddos to entertain and look after. @thekitchenfairy is our resident Mama who is also a witness. You can find her witness annoucement here She has some wonderful cooking and baking posts and is an absolute fan of Game of Thrones. She also does interesting art and crafts with her kiddos like making dragon eggs and igloos at home! LOL! In this recent post, she is helping @steemalliance (A Steemit Backed Community Governance Organization)with translation work. Thanks for always contributing to the community!

Our little community also some Spanish speaking Mamas. Unfortunately, I don't speak Spanish but I wanted to see what they were up on the weekend as well. I chanced upon this lovely post from @carolinacardoza where she made homemade mistela using pineapples. Apologies if there are any mistakes in my description as I used Google translate to get a gist of what the post was about. The drink looks delightful and I am wondering what it tastes like! If you are interesting in making some yourself do check out her post!

Finally I thought that I would share the work of a crazy talented Mama who made this beautiful work of art! It is just too beautiful to eat! She shares her finished work through Appics. Her earlier post shows her progress on the cake and the results is breathtaking!
