LAZINESS

Laziness is disinclination to activity or exertion despite having the ability to act or exert oneself.
Laziness has many synonyms. Namely; idleness, slothfulness, indolence, sluggishness etc.
Studies of motivation suggest that laziness may be caused by a decreased level of motivation, which in turn can be caused by over-stimulation or excessive impulses or distractions. These increase the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter responsible for reward and pleasure. The more dopamine that is released, the greater intolerance one has for valuing and accepting productive and rewarding action.
Attributes of Laziness:
• It is a disease that is common among the poor. Proverbs 10:4, 21:27
• It is a disease that is common among the candidate of hell fire. Matt 25:26
• It is a dangerous microscope that magnifies the thorns and hazard of every good idea, dream or opportunities. Prov 15:19
• It is the fuel of procrastination: hence a delayer of destiny.
• It is a terrible habit that enslaves the potential of its victim. Prov 12:27
• It wastes opportunities and destroys blessings. Eccl 10:18, Prov 18:9
• It is a reservoir of dreams and desire because none of its victim will ever materialize their dreams - Prov 21:25
• It is a veil of dishonor that denies its victim of divine appointment and honour: If you are lazy, God cannot call you except if you are another Judas in making.
• It is an internal injury which can only be cured or prevented by its victim.
-Proverbs 21:25: slothfulness Matt 25:14-26 Romans 12:11 –
