Sunrise over the Sea of Galilee
I've been blessed in my life to have watched a few times a spectacular event that happens every day - A SUNRISE.
When the sun "pops up" a few centimeters on the horizon as a golden ball . Then for a short time it casts a rich golden ray before it gets too bright to watch with a naked eye and the color around you changes from the beautiful rich gold to normal daylight.
If you have never experienced it, it is well worth the effort to get up early, go to an elevated spot with no obstructions on the horizon and wait or those few moments of magic.
One of the greatest Sunrises I've ever witnessed is captured in the photo above - a Sunrise over the Sea of Galilee in Israel. Maybe because of where we were but this Sunrise was soul fulling with goodness and a feeling of closeness to God.

Sunrise and sunsets are truly gifts from God. They always make me think, reminiscence and just get lost in my thoughts.
